With all these global warming problems, maybe its time we do our part. Well, we can also start small by using Etruk’s Home Biodiesel Converter kit!

This planet-friendly device converts discarded domestic/cooking oil into biofuel which can be used in your diesel car! Cool!. But then once again, biofuel may not be as effective as normal petrol now as the combustion rate is different. So just pray that scientist can come up with a brilliant solution to save our Earth!
Save the planet !
SAVE the PLANET!
oh dear oh dear, where was I. Ok, one last point to note. This device is illegal in countries where there is fuel tax. Er hmm, so much so for saving the planet….

The Mira ball is surely one interesting gadget with a good concept as it has the capability to continuously displaying text and pictures around its 360 degree globe.
If you’re thinking what uses it could provide, here’s one which I could think of. If you’re the sort of people who tend to forget things easily, just hooked up a text reminder on the globe and anytime you look at your globe, you’ll be reminded of what you’re suppose to do.
If the above is not good enough, here’s another, if you’ve got a colleague you want to hit on but don’t dare to make the first move, load a message such as “The chick/dude sitting beside me is hot” and viola, you’ve have a nice topic start a conversation on.
If the above 2 reasons are not good enough, go crack your brain and think of something else The other good thing about this device is it’s capability to upload pictures (don’t count too much into the resolutions) into it other than just plain text messages.
How it works is really simple as the texts or pictures are displayed by a electric motor that will drive the high brightness linear array LED lamps into high speed rotation.
I really love the concept of the Mira Ball at how it could display text that goes round in 360 degree. However, the design really put me off and it would be exceptionally cool if we could get one of the designers from Yanko Design to give it a really good face lift. Hmm, maybe Daan Van Tulder might be interested in it?
Priced at $33.78 USD, the Mira Ball is just 1 click away. In case you’re wondering, the ball can’t do any future prediction.

It’s interesting to find out about the different variety of covers people use to cover their gadgets or devices with.
Here’s 3 of the different covers for DS-Lite I’ve picked personally from the source site:
1) Smart, ‘gun metal grey’ felt DS case

Simple and minimalist, this case will be the one to go for if you’re the business dude who likes to bring your DS whenever you go.
2) Cozy DS ’sock’

The traditional sock like looking pouches will be a nice fit for your DS Lite and it will look especially good in in the winter seasons.
3) Pokemon DS Lite pouches

If you’re into cute or you love Pokemon, you’ll love the above covers to bits. Come with a tail as well.
Start giving your DS-Lite a little more love with this covers and you can head on down to Crafty Crafty if you want to view more designs.

It will be so cool just to have one of this display for first person shooter or MMORPG games. I’ve no idea what is the model of the Display but the source site is guessing that it may be a NEC Plasma. Well, I guess that there’s no more excuses for missing out on the targets.
