ASUS Launches Sleek Looking U3 13.3” Notebook

The new ASUS notebook named U3 is defintely 1 sexy notebook just by looking at its piano-black LCD cover. The notebook is constructed of magnesium aluminum alloy and there’s even a genuine leather palm rest to give you good comfort.
The notebook weighs at just 1.7 KG when using the standard 3-cell battery.
Here’s a look into it’s specifications:
- Core 2 Duo processors up to T7500 Intel Turbo Memory
- 2.5GB of DDR2 memory
- NVIDIA GeForce 8400M G GPU is provided (128MB of dedicated memory)
- Up to a 160GB HDD
- Users will have to go with either an external USB 2.0 or Firewire drive in order to read CDs or DVDs as it does not have an integrated optical drive.
- Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR
- GPS
- built-in 3G for mobile broadband
No official announcement for the price of U3 yet.
