Chill Out Friday: Are you Ready To Enter Hell Through HellGate: London

October 19, 07 by You Teck

Friday is here and its time to take a step back and start chilling out for the weekend. If you’ve hasn’t  got much plan on what to do for the weekend, maybe you could start with playing “HELLGATE: London” demo to immerse yourself in some action RGP and gore.

I’ve personally tried the game and if you’re a Diablo fan, you will definitely love HellGate. Staged in a post-demoic world, the whole action starts in London and you will have a choice of 6 different characters (Only 2 For Demo) to choose from to clean up the place.

There isn’t a hell lot of different in terms of game play between HellGate and Diablo, even the interface strikes a similar contrast. However, considering that the development team consists of people who have worked with Diablo, Warcraft and StarCraft, its really something we have all come to expect.

The only noticeable difference is the movement function which requires you to move with your keyboard rather than the mouse. Over and all, I still find the game enjoyable and it could even be addictive to a certain degree. I couldn’t judge too much on the storyline as its just the demo version but I truly believe that it will be the online component of the game that could really make it successful.

Well, if you’re eagerly anticipating the game, GameDaily has just released a downloadable demo version of the game over at their site. The full version will be out on the 31st of October in North America and may I add that it’s truly a great timing.

This is a true portable Bicycle Helmet

August 21, 07 by You Teck

Bicycle helmets are such a critical accessory to have when cycling on the busy roads but they can be such a pain in the butt when you need to find a place to tug it aside when you’ve reached your destination.

Now, with Stashkit folding helmet, this problem can be solved as this bike helmet can actually be folded up when not in use and that results in about 40% less volume than a conventional helmet would. In its folded state, it’s easier to stash it in your backpack or your normal working bag which no doubt makes it a lot more convenient.

The Stashkit helmet is available only in Europe and it cost about $136 SGD. I’m not sure if it will ever make it to the shores of Singapore since its not even accepted in the States yet.
