Cect mobile watch phone make use of the wireless bluetooth connection to let you receive/make calls via bluetooth headset. If you’re not comfortable with that, you can use the built in microphone and speaker for communication as well.

Anticipating the trend of 2008, Motorola announced on Thursday that they will be introducing DH01, a device that can play live TV, on-demand video clips and programs saved on digital video recorders.

Here are some of the features:
- 4.3-inch screen
- Video at 25fps
- Users can pause live TV for up to five minutes
- Rechargeable Battery Life of up to 4 hours
- Expandable memory slots that allows storage of up to 90 minutes of video
There isn’t any word on the price but Motorola has confirmed that it will be launching at the end of month and sold through television broadcasters, consumer electronics retailers and wireless carriers.
From my personal view, the 2 most useful applications for Live TV would be news and sports. Other than that, there shouldn’t be much need for watching dramas or movies as there are better alternatives.
Probably the coolest factor for the DH01 is its pause function which has a 5-minute memory buffer. It’s a really useful application where you can replay the footage you’ve missed due to interruptions like phone calls.
Live TV on mobile devices is definitely a useful technology and it would be interesting to see how the trends unfold. This is especially so on Apple’s next development of the the iPod.

The last post we made about this watch phone, it was actually still in its prototype and other than the fact that it will work with bluetooth, there’s wasn’t too much information about it.

Well, here’s a little more information about its features:
- 1GB of built-in memory
- audio/video file viewing
- FM radio
- 1.3-megapixel digital camera
No information on the pricing yet but we might be able to see the watch phone somewhere in mid-September. The prototype do look a lot better in design though.

There’s seems to be quite a bit activity going on for Samsung as they’ve just come up with a land line phone that’s named SMT-i8080.

The phone seems to be loaded with capabilities and the most notable feature should be it’s flippable LCD screen with embedded video cam which allows you to do video chat via Ethernet. Other features include the capability for user to buys stuffs, reserve movie tickets, stream audio and watch internet TV just by using the phone’s navigation buttons below the screen.
It’s mentioned by Gizmodo that it’s available in the Far East and we’ll be keeping our eyes open to see if the phone have made its way to Singapore. No mention on the price but you expect there will be a subscription service to the phone’s special Internet feature.

When I first saw this piece of news, I thought that this watch is actually another cool piece of technology from China. Upon viewing the source, the M500 mobile phone watch actually origins in Korea and is developed by SMS Technology.
Here’s a look into it’s specifications:
- Network: GSM Quadband (GSM850/900/1800/1900Mhz)
- Bluetooth compatibility
- Touchscreen Display
- Supports mp3 player
- 128MB memory
- USB connectivity
- Water-resistant

The touch screen capability really takes this mobile phone watch to the next level as compared to most of the current mobile phones models, only smart phones or PDA consists of such a technology.
No word on the pricing yet but the M500 is expected to be launched in early-September.
