These Speakers Are Not From Jupiter

August 28, 07 by You Teck

These speakers are actually named Jupiter 301 and nope, they’ve got nothing to do with the planet Jupiter other than its name. First launched in 2005, the speakers which was developed by MET are back with a modified body made to provide a sharp sound for an excellent audio quality.

I’m not sure how sharp the sound will be, but it will definitely cause a sharp pain in your pockets should decide to purchase the speakers which retails at $937 SGD. The speakers will be launched in Japan come next month (September).

iMirror iPod dock with Remote’s Interface That Works Like Your Player

August 24, 07 by You Teck

There’s not a lot of iPod dock that comes with remote much less one that has an interface bearing almost the same features as the player. However, things are set to change with the iMirror.

BexyiMirror.jpg

Bexy’s iMirror basically solves 2 of the common issues with the first being the slight drop in sound performance when connecting the iPod directly to your amplifier and the lack of remote control to play your music files.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Plug the dock straight into the RCA jacks at the back of your amplifier
  2. Drop your iPod onto the Dock (No brainier I guess)
  3. You’re ready to jam with its remote control

The cool thing about the remote is this, when you dock your iPod, the iMirror sends all your loaded song details to the remote control, so you can scroll through your music and select what to play through the remote’s LCD screen just as if you had the iPod in your hand. Not to worry about the battery issue as like most dock, your iPod will be recharged when it’s in the dock as well.

The iMirror is available over at Bexy online store and it retails for US$149.95.
